I'm so detached from what I do I'm this person I never knew I could be But in the end its just me I'm doing things I wouldn’t do Things that remind me of you Things that make me black and blue Things that I thought that I got through I'm doing things I wouldn’t do Doing things that seem so new Taking things out of the blue Forgetting things I thought I knew I'm someone else sometimes That repeats all the same lines Coincidence that it all rhymes I find I’m someone else sometimes I'm someone else sometimes That repeats all the same lines Coincidence that it all rhymes I find I’m someone else sometimes Now you’re just someone else I knew Someone else that put me through Things I put aside to do Only things that I wanted to You’re someone else I knew Someone else that put me through Things I thought I wanted to Things that we put aside to do I heard you listened to Brand New And made your mind on what to do I hope that you can just get through Whatever has been haunting you I hope you liked Brand New Those words just ring so true No thoughts about the girls I knew These songs just make me think of you And all the things we’ll never do All the dreams that won’t come true I hope you settle where you are And never want to start a new But if you change your mind real soon I’ll be on the 122 We’ll make a life out of the blue A life where its just me and you

I'm so happy that we still get sunshine Even though we get rain The days are so much longer but the nights are still filled with pain I’m so happy that we’re still drinking Even though we’re now sane Lets carry on, lets get dumb fuck drunk so we’ll never do it again I’ll try to grow up, if you let me I might make the same mistakes but I’ll see the difference between Being such an asshole, I’ll try to act my age Just give me one more chance and I’ll never do it again I’m so happy that the airs warm With a cold breeze on our face The days are so much wilder, We’re drinking hard and at a steady pace I’m so happy that the rivers cold Even though it don’t smell right Lets jump right in, lets get Weil's disease and hope the rats don’t start to bite I’ll try to grow up, if you let me I might make the same mistakes but I’ll see the difference between Being such an asshole, I’ll try to act my age Just give me one more chance and I’ll never do it again The boy prince has left us For a better place Now we’re at the spot, Cooking up a mull to send us into hyperspace And when we’re up there we’ll see you I hope you look the same Just guide us back to the earth below and come and join us once again I’ll try to grow up, if you let me I might make the same mistakes but I’ll see the difference between Being such an asshole, I’ll try to act my age Just give me one more chance and I’ll never do it again

I guess a good starting point would be to watch Garden State together Then for the next three days, we’ll stay in, out of all this bad weather A few more films and we’ll be deep in thinking that we’ve lived our lives We’ll watch the rest, and get caught up with all of Hollywoods romantic lies I think the fourth film we should watch, should be something about lost time Or maybe some music film, we could try Walk The Line It gets really sad at parts, so don’t ever see it as your duty To stay around for another week or two, A few more films, popcorn and American Beauty I’ve seen these films from time to time I've Watched them with many lovers of mine We’ve all felt sad, we’ve all just cried At last I’m here, at last I’ve tried Do you think its time? We should watch The Notebook. I heard its really serious, and you know what, with my outlook I’ll get too attached and I won’t ever let you go I’ll be by your side forever, just so you know I’ve seen these films from time to time Watched them with many lovers of mine We’ve all felt sad, we’ve all just cried At last I’m here, at last I’ve tried I’ve seen these films from time to time Watched them with many lovers of mine

Cast Away 01:16
I know that drinking slows me down But there's something wrong with my brain Something I can't figure out No single breath, silence draws round It swallows me into a place where I can never make a sound My gears have stopped And I know what haunts this town The thought of it just brings me down Frozen still and static to the bone Cast Away, Sent into the darkest place alone Cast Away, A land that you can finally call your own Cast Away, To settle in the place of the unknown And live amongst the men of stone

There’s not too many things I’ve done Still no places I have been I’m still stuck in this old town Trying to live the dream And I see the same old faces And I have the same old dream I wait for days and days on end In anxious harmony I think I need a bicycle And I’ll ride some place far Maybe up to Brecon or somewhere else just as bizarre I’ll make my way down to the coast And part and ride through the sea Like Moses did back in the day I’ll head straight for Normandy And when I’m there at Omaha I’ll think of all those men who died That grew up in small towns like ours and fought for more than drunken pride I’ll contemplate a few more things Then I’ll get back on that bike And when I’m down in Germany Will you let me stay the night? I don’t know where you’re living now But I hope its somewhere nice I’m still walking down the roads That we rode on winter nights My party should be over When I’m walking home alone But the inter cities passing through I’ll rest when I am home
